Had to pick between Procore and PlanGrid for our crew in Austin last spring

I went with Procore because the field supervisor wanted the daily log feature, and now 6 months later I'm wondering if PlanGrid's offline access would have saved us during that week of spotty wifi at the warehouse site - anyone else run into this choice and regret it?

Why does picking software always feel like choosing between bad wifi and bad coffee?

@pipera50 it really is like that though. You basically have to decide if you want something that does the job but feels terrible to use, or something that looks nice but can't handle anything real. The real question is why does everything have to be cheap fluff now? Was there a meeting where they decided stability and good UX don't matter anymore? Because I swear every new tool is just a pretty wrapper around a broken core.
