Tell them to price out what the free version actually covers versus what you need for a 40-unit job. Real talk, the free tier is basically a demo with training wheels. They are setting you up for a headache down the line when you start needing subs and material tracking that is locked behind a paywall.

Man I had a buddy fall for this exact trap last year. He was doing a 30 unit townhome project and thought the free version was plenty. Six weeks in he realized he couldn't track material deliveries or send invoices to subs without paying. Had to migrate everything mid job and lost half his data in the transfer. Total nightmare.
