Finally gave up on manual pencil takeoffs after 12 years

I used to do all my quantity takeoffs by hand with a scale ruler and colored pencils for every bid. Last month I tried Bluebeam Revu on a 40,000 sq ft commercial project in Phoenix and it cut my takeoff time by about 6 hours. Has anyone else made the switch and found a feature that really sold you on the software?

My hand takeoffs looked like a toddler got hold of some highlighters. Bluebeam at least makes my mess look professional.
