Bluebeam vs. PlanGrid for RFI tracking - which side are you on?

I used Bluebeam for 2 years on a hospital job in Cleveland and loved the markup tools, but last month I tried PlanGrid on a smaller school project and the mobile RFI workflow was way faster for subs in the field. Am I crazy for thinking one is clearly better for big jobs vs. small ones, or does it just depend on whether you're in the office or on site?

Stop right there - did you just say you used Bluebeam for 2 years on a hospital job and then tried PlanGrid once on a school project and already have strong opinions? Honestly, that's wild to me because hospital work vs school work is completely different beasts. The subs on my last hospital project literally couldn't load PlanGrid on their iPads because the RFI files were too big and kept crashing. Tbh, I think Bluebeam handles heavy document sets way better for big jobs like hospitals where you've got thousands of pages. But for something small like a school, yeah, PlanGrid's mobile workflow is legit faster and less clunky. You're not crazy but you're definitely only seeing half the picture with just 2 years on one tool and a month on the other.

@rose_hart31 nailed it. Two years on Bluebeam for a hospital is a lot different than a quick school job with PlanGrid. Big projects need a tool that doesn't choke on massive files, while small jobs just want speed. You're comparing apples to oranges, plain and simple.
