Watched a flat earther change his mind after 2 hours at a park in Wichita
Honestly I used to think these debates never actually change anyone's mind, but I sat with a guy named Dave at a park near Wichita last Saturday and something clicked. He kept saying the horizon always looks flat, so I just had him watch a boat disappear bottom first through my binoculars for 20 minutes. Two hours later he admitted he'd never actually tested it himself in 6 years of posting about it online, and honestly that's the real problem with most of these arguments. Has anyone else gotten someone to actually shift on something like this, or does it always just turn into a shouting match?
