Watched a 2 hour documentary on the moon landing versus a 30 minute debunking video and the debunking just had way better sources.
The documentary kept showing the same shaky flag clip while the debunking video pulled up actual NASA tech manuals from 1969 and had a physicist explain the vacuum welding issue in plain terms. Anyone got a link to that debunking channel?

Check the sources on that debunking video though. Those tech manuals are real but they're often taken out of context. The flag thing has a simple explanation, the rod in the top edge kept it looking weird in a vacuum. And vacuum welding was a known issue they planned for, they used special coatings. A 30 minute video can skip a lot of the boring engineering fixes.

Wait they seriously coated every single moving part to stop vacuum welding? That sounds like a massive extra step they never talk about in the documentaries. How do you even test that on earth properly, you can't exactly make a full vacuum chamber the size of a lunar module. It just feels like every time there's a weird detail, the answer is some secret fix they never showed the public.
