The JFK document number that made me stop trusting the 1991 binder my dad kept
My dad kept a binder of JFK articles since 1991, and I believed the single shooter line for years. Then I pulled the actual Warren Commission exhibit list from the National Archives site and saw that one key exhibit in the Dallas records, CE 399, was listed with a chain of custody that has at least 3 gaps in the paperwork. Seeing the real catalog entry, not a YouTube clip, did it for me. Anyone else read the original archive scans instead of the summaries people pass around?
