Serious question, why does everyone push the 5 hour energy drink doc over the 3 hour one on the deep state?
I finally sat down and watched a 5 hour breakdown on the JFK files last weekend, and honestly the pacing was terrible. Then I found a 3 hour doc from a smaller channel that covered the same declassified stuff way tighter, no filler, no dramatic music every 2 minutes. I get that longer videos feel more serious to some people, but half of that 5 hour one was just the guy restating the same 3 points. Has anyone else noticed the shorter docs are usually the ones actually citing sources?
Why would a shorter doc being tighter make it more trust worthy though? A guy with a 3 hour video can cut just as many corners as a guy with a 5 hour one, he just hides it faster. I have seen short docs that cite stuff and long ones that cite nothing, and the other way around too. The truth is most of these channels are just reading the same archive pages out loud for ad money, no matter how long the video runs. Length does not tell you if the research is good, it mostly tells you how many ads they wanted to squeeze in.
