Rant: I stopped reading conspiracy threads and started reading the original documents instead
I used to spend hours scrolling through big conspiracy forums reading everyone's takes, and I always felt like I knew less after than before. Then a few weeks back I started going straight to the actual source material, like the 1964 Warren Commission summary and some old declassified pages I pulled from the archive site, and it was a totally different experience. The threads just repeat each other with no links, but the papers have dates, names, and page numbers you can check yourself. I still read the forums, I just do it after, not before. Has anyone else tried flipping the order like that, or am I just late to this?
