Question about the JFK single bullet thing

I argued for 6 years that the magic bullet was impossible, but my brother pulled up the actual Zapruder frame sequence side by side with the Warren Commission diagram at his kitchen table in Reno last Tuesday and I couldn't explain away the timing, so does anyone have a solid source that deals with the alignment without just saying 'it curves'?

Frame 312 is where people always get stuck, and its fair to get hung up there. But the Warren Commission diagram is a drawing, not evidence, and it was made after the fact to fit a story. The actual source to read is the House Select Committee on Assassinations report from 1979, they went back over the shots and even they ended up saying there was probably a second shooter. So the "single bullet" thing was never as solid as people claimed, but nobody has really proven it wrong either. A drawing at a kitchen table in Reno isnt going to settle something people with actual access to the files couldnt. Not saying its fake, just saying this is one of those cases where both sides have been yelling for 60 years and neither has the smoking gun.
