PSA: I paid $180 to join a secret stock market group and it was just a guy reading headlines
So against my better judgment I paid $180 to get into this private Telegram group that promised early warnings on market moving news before it hit the mainstream. The pitch was all about catching stuff early and the guy running it kept posting screenshots of trades that looked amazing. Turns out all he was doing was copy pasting headlines from Bloomberg and Reuters like ten minutes after they came out and dressing them up like some insider tip. I sat in there for about six weeks and every single drop of info was either public already or just made up. When I asked for proof on one call he banned me and blocked my number. I know people on here argue about who really controls the markets, but this whole thing made me think the small time grifters are just as bad as the big ones. Anyone else get burned by a paid group like this, and did you ever get your money back?
Bruh come on, $180 for headlines you could get for free on your phone? That's not a grift, that's just you paying a guy to read Twitter out loud. The real lesson here is if someone's selling "secret" market info, the secret is that you're the product.
