Had to choose between a used oscilloscope and a logic analyzer for debugging old synth gear, picked the scope

The logic analyzer seemed cooler for digital stuff, but after 3 days of tracing a capacitor leak on a Roland Juno I realized the scope let me SEE the waveform wobble in real time, has anyone else found analog tools way more useful for vintage electronics fixes?
