Had a weird moment at the gas station last month that made me rethink a few things
Honestly, I was filling up my car in Springfield and the pump just stopped at exactly $20.00 three times in a row. The guy at the next pump said his did the same thing. Tbh, it got me looking into those old theories about gas pumps being set to stop at round numbers to make you spend more. Has anyone else had a pump act up like that in a specific way?

Oh man, that's wild! My buddy had something similar happen, but his pump kept clicking off way before his tank was full, like every five bucks. He got so annoyed he went inside to complain, and the clerk just shrugged and said the sensor was probably dirty. Makes you wonder how often that stuff happens and we just don't notice, you know?

My cousin had a pump that charged her card twice for one fill-up, took weeks to get the refund.

Gas stations really love round numbers, huh? @willow732's cousin got charged twice, so maybe they just want to double their fun.
