Guy at a Denver library told me he keeps two computers so the internet can't see all of him, and I can't shake it
I was sitting at a table in the Denver Central Library about 2 weeks ago and this older guy next to me had a laptop and a tablet both open, so I asked if he was working two jobs. He said he does all his serious reading on one and all his searches on the other, because "they only see half a person that way," and he said it like it was the most normal thing in the world. Do you all think splitting your online life across devices does anything real, or is he just being careful for no reason?
