Checked some old financial blogs from the early 2000s. Found a few people who saw the 2008 mess coming a mile away. Gives you a strange mix of respect and dread.

My friend dug up a 2003 forum post that correctly guessed the housing market crash. Felt weirdly satisfying and a bit grim at the same time.
