That $70 wireless controller I laughed at actually fixed my lag issue
I was sure third-party controllers were a scam after a bad experience in 2018, but a buddy let me try his 8BitDo Pro 2 last week and my timing in Hollow Knight suddenly made sense... Has anyone else been surprised by a cheaper option working better than the official stuff?

Told you all along those official ones are overpriced junk. Sometimes the cheap stuff just WORKS.

Tbh your lucky it worked out for you. I tried a random no name battery pack once and it caught fire after two weeks. Not saying all cheap stuff is bad but there's a reason some things cost more. You gotta pick your battles with off brand gear.
