Spent 4 hours trying to sync my Switch Pro controller to my PC

Thought it would be plug and play but nope. Turns out the Bluetooth on my laptop just hates Nintendo stuff for some reason. After digging through like 20 forum posts I found out I needed to hold the sync button for like 15 seconds instead of 5. Has anyone else run into weird pairing issues with cross-platform controllers?

Did you update the firmware on the controller first? That fixed it for me.
