Shoutout to hitting 1000 hours in Stardew Valley across three systems
I used to think owning a game on multiple consoles was a waste of money. But after my Switch save got corrupted last year, I realized I didn't lose anything because I had it on PC and PlayStation too. Crossing 1000 hours total this week surprised me because I never thought I'd stick with a farming sim that long. Has anyone else hit a big hour milestone on a game you didn't expect to love that much?

Lost my Skyrim save once. 600 hours gone. Started over on PC and never looked back. Multiple systems means multiple save files. Hit 800 hours total on that game easy. Never expected to replay the same dungeons that many times. The mods kept pulling me back in.

And @amygonzalez is right, that first save loss hits different. I did the same thing on Xbox, lost about 500 hours to a corrupted save file. Switched to PC after that and never worried about it again. The cloud saves on Steam are a lifesaver, plus you can manually back up your save folder if you're paranoid like me. I've probably got 1,200 hours now across different playthroughs and I still find new stuff in dungeons I've done ten times already. The modding community keeps the game fresh in a way console players just don't get to experience.
