Debate: should you save a glitched run or start over?

I was halfway through a 2 hour No-Hit run of Hollow Knight in my buddy's basement last night when a boss teleported through a wall and I lost no health but the timer froze. I kept going out of stubbornness, but my friend argued it invalidates the whole thing since the game bugged out what would you do?

Glitched runs don't count, plain and simple. Start fresh if you want it to be legit.

Three hours into a Cuphead run last week my cat stepped on the power strip and console shut off. I feel your pain. @river182 probably has a point about legitimacy but man, spending that time again is soul crushing. Those bugged Hollow Knight bosses are like getting disqualified for tripping over your own shoelaces in a marathon.
