Beat the first boss in Elden Ring on my 14th try and I actually whooped out loud

So I finally caved and picked up Elden Ring last month after my brother would not shut up about it. I am terrible at these games, like genuinely bad. Died to the tutorial boss twice. But last Tuesday night around 11pm I sat down after work and just kept throwing myself at Margit, you know the first real boss on the bridge. I died 13 times in a row, and on the 14th I beat him with barely any health left and my hands were shaking. I yelled so loud my dog ran out of the room. Here is the thing though, I play on PlayStation and my brother plays on Xbox and we have been texting each other tips all week like we are both stuck on the same stuff. He told me to use the jellyfish summon and it totally worked. I guess I just want to say it does not matter what box you play on when you are both getting wrecked by the same giant troll. What boss took you way too many tries the first time?
