Wasted $400 on a DIY concrete sealer that peeled off in 2 months

I bought that expensive acrylic sealer from the big box store for my driveway job in Austin and followed the instructions to the letter... It started peeling after a few rainstorms and now I have to grind it all off. Has anyone else had luck with a different type of sealer that actually sticks?

My buddy Mike used a solvent-based sealer and it's held up through three Texas summers...
