Update: poured a 12x14 slab in Austin last Tuesday and the mix came in 45 minutes late
Truck showed up at 9:45 instead of 9 and it was already starting to kick in the chute, so me and the guy helping me had to scream at the plant to send a retarder truck while we busted ass. We ended up working it wet and it cured with two hairline cracks near the control joints, has anyone else had to fight a late truck in this heat and what did you do different?
