That rapid set concrete I bought on a whim last fall
I dropped about $80 on a bag of that 30 minute rapid set stuff from the supply house down on 4th street. Thought it would save me on a cold weather pour in late October, but it kicked off so fast I barely got it screeded before it started setting. Total nightmare. Has anyone else had that stuff turn into a rock before you even get it flat?

Worked with that same stuff last month on a foundation repair. Mixed it a little wetter than the bag says and it gave me enough time to get it leveled out fine. You might have had the mix too dry or the concrete too cold.

Wetter mix just makes it crack worse as it cures though, doesn't it?
