Switched from a 36 inch bull float to a 48 inch on a big garage pour and it cut my time in half.
The bigger float just covered more ground with each pass, especially on that flat open slab. Anyone else find a tool size change that made a huge difference on a job?

Cutting your time in half seems like a stretch. A bigger tool helps, but that's a huge claim for just a float change. Maybe you were just having a really good day.

Yeah, that's a fair point. It probably wasn't exactly half, you're right. It just felt that way because the old one was so frustrating. The new float size made a bigger difference than I expected for my specific setup.
