Question about sealing a driveway in humid weather

I poured a 400 square foot driveway last Tuesday outside Columbus and the forecast showed 80% humidity the next morning. I sealed it anyway because the homeowner was pushing the timeline, and now there are white blotches all over the surface. Has anyone else dealt with this after sealing in high humidity, and did a second thin coat actually fix it or did you have to grind it down?
