Old timer named Frank showed me how to edge with no touch-up at a job in Tempe

He just ran his edger at a perfect angle with wet concrete and never went back over it. No grinding later. I still think about that when I mess up a slab edge. Has anyone else had a guy show you one trick that saved you hours on finishing?

Funny how the smallest things stick with you like that. I've had guys show me stuff that saved me a little time but never anything that dramatic. Maybe Frank was just one of those guys who made everything look easy and you're giving him too much credit.
