That time a cheap PSU took out 3 drives in one go

We had a client bring in a rig last month that kept dropping SATA drives randomly. Turns out their no-name 450W PSU was putting out dirty voltage, killed 3 drives before we caught it. Always check the 12V rail with a multimeter, even if the PC posts fine. Anyone else seen a cheap power supply fry more than just the motherboard?
