Hot take: That stat about Dell Optiplex PSUs being junk surprised me

I found a breakdown on a repair blog last week showing 78% of those 305W power supplies fail within 3 years, way higher than the 15% rate for HP’s comparable units, has anyone else seen those numbers hold up in the field?

Yeah those numbers match what I've seen. Most of the failed Optiplex PSUs I've pulled were the 305W units.

Interesting take, but I've pulled way more 240W units that were dead than the 305W ones. The smaller supplies just seem to get cooked faster in those compact cases.
