Had a customer ask me to 'fix their wifi' for 45 minutes before admitting their router was unplugged

Oh man, I feel your pain on this one. I had a guy call me out to his house once, paid a service fee, and after 20 minutes of testing everything he finally admitted his power strip was switched off. People just assume the magic box is broken before checking if it even has power, happens way more than you'd think.

Idk @stone.evan, do you ever wonder if some of these people just want someone to blame? Like, they know deep down it's something dumb but they'd rather act like the tech is the problem than admit they forgot to plug something in. Seems like a weird ego thing almost.
