Warning: a tender on the barge kept calling my knots sloppy, and he was on to something
He watched me rig a lift on the Sabine River job and asked why I double chokes on shackles instead of nut and bolt. I swapped to bolt type shackles and my rigging time went from about 20 minutes to 12 on a 8 point lift. Any of you running bolt shackles on underwater lifts or is that overkill?
