Warning: That bargain bin dollar comic grab turned into a $60 lesson
I spent $40 on a stack of 50 cent comics from a discount box at my local shop only to get home and realize every single one had water damage that I could've spotted if I actually looked, so now I'm out $40 and have 50 soggy paperweights - has anyone else gotten burned by the 'too good to be true' comic deal?

Ugh that stinks, I've definitely been burned on a too good to be true deal before too.

Used to be one of those people who thought the bad reviews were just from folks who didn't know what they were doing. Figured if you did your homework you could snag the real deal every time. This whole experience really opened my eyes to how slick some of these scams can be. Now I get why people say to walk away if it feels too perfect. What kind of deal was it you got burned on?
