Just realized I've been bagging my comics totally backwards for years

I was at my local shop last Tuesday and the owner saw me putting a book in a bag. He just laughed and said "you know the flap goes on the bottom, right?" I had been putting the flap on top this whole time, like 7 years. Felt like an idiot but at least my comics are safe. Anyone else have a comic storage habit they had to unlearn?

Wait wait wait... 7 years with the flap on top?? That's wild. I only found out last month when my buddy literally grabbed a bag out of my hand and flipped it over like I was a child.

Right, because the instruction manual that came with every bag just screamed "open me from the bottom" in invisible ink. 7 years of messing with a stubborn top flap while the real opening was just waiting there. Your buddy probably saved you from another decade of struggle, he deserves a medal or at least a beer.
