Honestly, watching a newbie fan argue about Batman's strength vs Hulk taught me something
Tbh I was at my local shop last Saturday and this kid, maybe 19, was going on and on about how Batman could take Hulk if he had prep time. I've heard that take a million times but he was really serious about it. I compared how he approached the argument versus how a older collector I know debates stuff. The older guy just shrugged and said 'different universes, different rules, who cares.' The kid got all red faced and started listing comic issues. Made me realize the fun fans just enjoy the stories while the competitive ones turn everything into a fight. Has anyone else noticed the chill collectors tend to stick around longer in the hobby?
