TIL handwriting my lecture notes beats typing them, and it's not even close
I switched from typing notes on my laptop to writing them in a cheap spiral notebook for my bio class this semester, and my test scores went from a C+ to a low A in 6 weeks. Typing let me copy every word the prof said without thinking, so I had 40 pages of notes I never actually read again. Handwriting is slower, so I have to pick what matters, and that forces my brain to process it right there in class. I also stopped zoning out on my laptop, which was half the battle honestly. Has anyone else made this swap, or am I just late to something everyone already knew?
