Shoutout to the professor who actually remembered my name after one class
I had Dr. Chen for Intro to Psych this semester at City College, and on the second day she called me out by name when I raised my hand. Felt kinda nice honestly, most profs don't bother until midterms. How many of your profs actually learn names early on, or do they just read off the roster the whole term?

That "felt kinda nice" part is exactly what's missing most places these days. People are so wrapped up in their own stuff they forget a simple name drop can make someone's whole week. It's like we're all just background characters in each other's lives until someone actually stops to see you.

Feel seen" is such a rare vibe these days. I read somewhere that names literally trigger dopamine in our brains.
