Overheard a freshman say 'everything is on Canvas anyway' and it hit me weird
I was grabbing coffee at the student union and this kid says he doesn't even check his email because profs post everything on Canvas. I remember having to walk to the library to check a physical bulletin board for syllabus changes. Does anyone else feel like we lost something when we stopped having to actually hunt for information?

Man my buddy straight up failed a class cause he missed a syllabus change printed on paper in the library.

Bro my roommate literally failed a class last year because the prof changed the exam date in a tiny footnote on a printed handout nobody read. I almost got burned too when my calc teacher switched the grading rubric mid-semester and only posted it on a bulletin board in the science building. It's wild how they'll hide changes like it's a treasure hunt and then act surprised when people miss them.
