My old academic advisor was right about community college transfers
Before freshman year back in 2015, my high school guidance counselor in Richmond told me to start at community college to save cash. I ignored her because I wanted the full dorm experience at a big university. Three years later I took her advice anyway after my student loans hit $9,000 and I had zero major declared. I just finished my second semester at the community college and I'm saving roughly $700 a month while the gen ed credits transfer fine. Anyone else ever circle back to advice they brushed off?
