My advisor's one comment made me dump my entire class schedule

I met with my advisor at State College on Tuesday to fix a registration hold, and she pointed out that every single class I picked had a lecture component, which I never noticed before. She said I should mix in a lab or seminar since I clearly learn better hands-on, and that stuck with me because it explained why I kept zoning out in my psych 200 section. Has anyone else had a professor or advisor say something that made you totally redo your plan for the semester?

Did you actually notice a difference in your psych class once you thought about it that way, or was the advisor just planting an idea that made sense after the fact? Seems like a pretty big swing to ditch everything over one comment, but maybe you already had doubts.
