Got a 58 on my first calc exam last month and my study group fell apart
I walked into that exam feeling okay but the second I saw the integrals I just froze up. When I got the grade back I went to my usual study spot in the library and nobody from the group showed up for two days straight. Turns out they made a separate chat without me because they thought I was dragging the average down. Has anyone else had a study group ghost them like that after a bad test?

Man that's brutal. People really show their true colors when grades are on the line... sorry that happened to you. I'd say just find one or two people who actually want to help each other, not just ride on someone's success.

Think you hit the nail on the head man. It's wild how quick people switch up when they feel pressure, like the real them just comes out. I've had that happen before where someone I thought was solid just bailed when the work got hard. Better to have one real person who's got your back than a whole group of people just looking for a free ride. You'll find your people eventually, the ones who actually care about learning not just the grade. Stay up and don't let it get to you too much lol.
