Freshman vs senior year me is a whole different person

I swear looking at my schedule from week 1 of freshman year vs now is wild. I was taking 18 credits trying to do premed plus a club sport and working 15 hours a week. Ended up with a 2.4 GPA that first semester and basically had a breakdown in the library bathroom. Now as a senior I take like 12 credits max, dropped the premed dream, and actually have time to sleep and eat real food. My GPA is a 3.6 now because I finally realized quality over quantity matters. Anyone else look back at their old self and cringe at how dumb they were about overloading?

Same thing happened to me. Freshman year me thought 18 credits was a flex.

Right, but 18 isn't even that insane. My roommate freshman year did 21 credits one semester. That's a flex you're paying for with your mental health. He spent the whole semester running on cold brew and spite. Last I heard, he dropped out to become a ski instructor, so that tells you all you need to know.
