Switched from notepad to VS Code for my first real project

For about 6 months I was writing all my HTML and CSS in notepad like some kind of caveman... finally switched to VS Code after my buddy Dave in Denver showed me how it highlights errors and auto-closes tags. Now I can spot a missing bracket in 2 seconds instead of hunting for 20 minutes. Anyone else have a tool that just clicked after fighting with the basics for way too long?

Like some kind of caveman" - that's exactly how I felt with tape measures. Spent years using a beat up 25 footer from Home Depot. The numbers rubbed off after two months. My buddy from Denver showed me a digital measuring laser. Now I can measure a whole yard in ten minutes. Hit corners, slopes, all of it. Saved me from re-cutting sod more times than I can count.

@thomas_young right there with you, buddy. My old tape measure was so beat up I had to guess half the numbers, so I switched to a laser too and it's been a total game changer for landscaping work.
