My first CSS grid layout turned into a total disaster

I was coding at my kitchen table last Tuesday trying to make a simple 3-column portfolio page for a friend's bakery. Suddenly all the images stacked on top of each other like a tower of pancakes and the text went completely off screen. Has anyone else spent 4 hours debugging a missing closing bracket in their media query?

Bet that missing bracket had you questioning your whole career. We've all been there staring at the wall at 2am over one stupid typo.

Three hours is actually fast for a missing bracket @nathan_foster60, maybe slow down and plan your layout first.
