The time my coolant line decided to become a fountain in the middle of a run

I was running a big aluminum job on our old Haas VF-2, and a loose fitting on the high-pressure line let go, spraying coolant all over me and the shop floor like a fire hose. I had to hit the e-stop and wade through a quarter-inch deep puddle to get it shut off, and my boss just walked in and said, 'Having a pool party without me?' Anyone else have a coolant system try to redecorate the shop?

Keep a spare hose clamp in your toolbox, right?

Yeah, that's a lesson you only learn once.

Hate it when that happens man. Nothing worse than watching water pour out because of a cheap clamp. Feels like the car just knows when you're in a hurry.
