Bought a 'universal' tool holder that wrecked a $400 part

I grabbed one of those cheap universal tool holders online for like $80, thinking it would save me time on setups. Big mistake. The runout was so bad it threw the whole tool path off by a few thou. I didn't catch it until after the cycle, and it completely scrapped a complex aluminum housing I was making for a local shop. The material and my time came out to about $400 down the drain. The holder itself felt flimsy and the set screws stripped on the second use. Now I'm back to using my old, dedicated holders and the difference is night and day. Anyone have a go-to brand for holders that won't let you down on tight tolerance work?

I mean, come on, it was an $80 holder. What did you really expect for tight tolerance work? That's just the cost of learning sometimes.

Ugh, tell me about it! Ruby_grant is right, I learned that cheap holders just shake themselves apart the hard way too.
