The heat pump rebate forms were killing me, so I tried the county's free advisor

I spent 3 weeks trying to file for the federal heat pump rebate and kept messing up the paperwork. The online portal rejected my submission twice because of a missing serial number format. Last Tuesday I called the county energy office in Multnomah and got a free advisor who walked me through it in 20 minutes. She also found an extra $850 in local incentives I didn't know existed. Has anyone else used their municipality's free energy coaching instead of fighting the forms alone?
