Saw a huge solar farm on the drive to Phoenix and it got me thinking

I was on the I-10 about 20 miles outside the city, and the whole side of the highway was just covered in panels. It was honestly kind of amazing to see that much clean power in one spot. But then I passed a billboard for a new gas station being built right next to it. We're putting up the future while still building the past. Does anyone else get frustrated seeing stuff like that?

Honestly, it's like that everywhere. I saw a brand new EV charging spot last week that they put right between two old coal rolling diesel pumps. @the_kelly is right about picking a lane, but I guess the lane is just "all of them at once." Tbh it makes the whole green push feel half done, like we're scared to fully let go of the old stuff. Ngl, it's pretty wild to see both things being built side by side.

Can we at least pretend to pick a lane, lmao?

Pick a lane" is my whole life, not just energy policy.
