My neighbor's climate feedback made me stop air drying laundry, sounds odd but hear me out
So last spring in Austin I bragged to my neighbor about saving power by using a clothesline. She calmly pointed out that my dryer had a sensor mode that uses way less energy than I thought, and that my line dried stuff stiff as cardboard anyway. I got defensive at first, but then I actually checked my utility bill before and after for 2 months. Turns out the dryer's moisture sensor saved me about $18 a month plus my towels stopped feeling like sandpaper. Anyone else get climate advice that felt like a diss but was actually a win?
