Can we talk about the guy at the Portland city meeting who called my plastic recycling bin 'a lie I tell myself every Tuesday'?
He was right, so I stopped rinsing and sorting and started taking everything to the depackaging facility on NE Columbia Blvd instead, which cut my trash to one small bag a week.

That guy at the Portland meeting deserves a medal, honestly. Saying a recycling bin is "a lie I tell myself every Tuesday" is way too accurate and I hate that it's true. Guess I'm driving to NE Columbia now too.
