Update: heard two kids at a LAN party in Dayton call Quake bots "dead tech"
They were 19 and said nobody plays against bots anymore, only real players. Made me think about how my whole first mod was just beefing up bot pathing on Nightmare, and honestly that mod taught me more than any PvP match. Anyone still mess with bot AI in old id games, or am I the last one?
