Can we talk about the guy on the Doomworld forum who said his WAD folder got wiped by a bad sector?
Last Thursday I was reading a thread on Doomworld and this mapper said he lost 6 months of work on his megawad because his 2008 drive started clicking and he had no backup. I keep all my Quake and Doom stuff on one old drive in my rig and it got me thinking about how fast that could happen to me. Do you guys keep backups on a second drive or do you just cross your fingers like me?
